The Flyer Force

The Flyer Force has distribution operations in Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa. These business units distribute insert packages to non-subscribers (extended market coverage or EMC) for their associated Canwest Newspapers (the Herald, the Journal & the Citizen). The first Flyer Force operation was opened in Calgary in early 1984 followed by Edmonton in late 1984 and Ottawa in 1986.

The Flyer Force businesses are the dominant advertising material/product sample distribution organizations in their markets. All of the Flyer Force operations are approved members of the Flyer Distribution Standards Association.
