The Early News launches two hours of award winning journalism on Global Calgary. Weekdays at 5:30pm its followed by Global National with Kevin Newman and the News Hour at six.

News Hour on Global Calgary delivers 60 minutes of the most comprehensive local news coverage available. Nirmala Naidoo and Gord Gillies bring viewers unmatched top story coverage from Calgary's most experienced team of television journalists.

Global Calgary has your weekend news covered with the Evening News at 6pm, followed by News Final at 11pm. Global News anchor Jayme Doll delivers the stories and events making news over the weekend, plus provides viewers with the most accurate weekend weather forecast and a peek at temperatures for the following week. Ryan Leslie rounds out the weekend newscasts with a comprehensive look at sports – both amateur and professional.
