“The Biggest Loser” provides the 18 strong-willed, yet hopeful, contestants with challenges, temptations, weigh-ins and eliminations until the final contestant remains to claim the title of “the biggest loser.” Each team works out under the supervision of professional trainers Kim Lyons and Bob Harper. In a surprise twist this season, Season 1 Trainer Jillian Michaels returns.
Alison Sweeney (“Days of Our Lives”) joins the show to host the fourth season of the series, which challenges and encourages overweight contestants to shed pounds in a safe and recommended manner through comprehensive diet and exercise as they compete for a grand prize of $250,000. The unscripted and life-altering one-hour reality series gathers contestants from across the country to face real-life temptations, while being provided with approved weight-loss skills and resources in an effort to help them transform their bodies, health -- and ultimately -- their lives.
On Tuesday September 4th THE BIGGEST LOSER: DID THEY KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF? airs. Thirteen past contestants including Marty Wolf, Poppi Kramer and season three winner Erik Chopin, return to the scale one last time in this hour-long special. Fans are in for a treat when it is revealed who kept the weight off and who is still struggling, as well as what has been happening in their personal lives. After watching all the contestants go through an emotional and physical transformation over the last three seasons, trainers Bob Harper (blue team) and Kim Lyons (red team) will be able to see if everyone’s hard work has paid off.
