It’s time to honour Canadians for their ever growing effect on the world of television! The Gemini Awards are once again awarding the best of Canadian television with its 24th annual award show. Celebrating excellence in Canadian English-language television, the Geminis acknowledge our country’s triumphs in over 90 award categories. Since its first broadcast in 1986, the event has grown in prominence and stature to become one of the most prestigious cultural events in Canada.
This truly Canadian ceremony held in Calgary, Alberta, will be broadcast on both Global and Showcase, Saturday, November 14th, 2009.
