It's officially summer. The sun is out, the pools - open, the vacation's - booked, and viewers are still watching.

BBM NMR People Meters reveal that adults spend almost 20 hours each summer week watching television. Last summer alone 26 million adults watched TV, that's 96% of the adult population each week! Even those ellusive adults 18-34 are watching television throughout the summer - 15 hours of it each week.

How do you make sure that when viewers are enjoying this summer they are buying your beer, drinking your cola and watching your movies? Remind them during their favourite summer shows - (Wipeout, Nashville Star, Swingtown, Celebrity Circus, Durham County, In Plain Sight, Fear Itself)

According to the latest BBM Analytics OmniVu survey, television advertising is the most consumed and influential medium among all Canadian demographics. Televison offers over two and a half times the influence of all other media combined! With TV also outranking all other media in effectiveness, persuasiveness and viewer engagement it is the clear channel to reach consumers this summer.
