WGA West President Patric Verrone standing on stage in front of an orange velvet curtain anxiously checking his blackberry. WGA East president Michael Winship enters from off stage, hands Patric a slip of paper. The two exchange nods. Both Michael and Patric give one another a relieved, almost excited smile. Patric now turns and positions himself behind a podium line with a bank of microphones. The room erupts with camera flashes as Patric speaks.


PATRIC
Tonight’s vote ends the strike.
Writers can go back to work immediately.


 
DISSOLVE TO:

Returning to her comedy roots, Tina Fey will be the first guest host as Saturday Night Live returns from hiatus. SNL will be one of the first programs to rebound from the three month long WGA writers strike, and who better to lead this return than the former head writer/cast member Tina Fey.
 
Catch SNL at its regular time, returning Feb 23rd, Saturday’s on Global.
 
Ellen Page, Juno's Oscar-nominated Canadian sweetheart, will host SNL the following week, with yet another all new episode.
